The property saw South African taxpayers fork out R118-million for premises which were never secured and acquired via dodgy means. To make matters worse, her misconduct was highlighted as part of a broader MP corruption scheme which includes Maite Nkoana-Mashabane and Jerry Matjila, amongst others.
– Implicated in a scandal involving Covid-19 aid granted to Cuba which diverted critical funds to a foreign country. Following a court interdict, Pandor was instructed to halt all aid to Cuba. The decision was challenged by Pandor, and the Government’s response on the matter was quite tense.
